ABOUT MPISFF

Politeknik Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin (PTSS) in collaboration with the Department of Polytechnic and Community College Education are proud to host the MALAYSIA POLYTECHNIC INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL 2019 (MPISFF).

MPISFF is a platform to accelerate English language acquisition through film making. Short films are often used as a medium to deliver messages in an engaging manner.  The social and underlying messages in short films usually tell us about our society and life, and how we could further improve generally.

MPISFF has chosen MISCOMMUNICATION as its theme. We are eager to see how students display their creativities in interpreting the theme.  We also urge contestants to use this opportunity to meet short film makers to enhance and exchange knowledge.

MISCOMMUNICATION

1.    To increase English Language acquisition and skill through film making.

2.    To encourage students to produce short videos/ films as a contemporary medium.

3.    To boost students’ creativity in developing videos/films with positive values as a way to deliver a message to the community.
